Tidings Issue 37 now online!

May 19, 2015

The latest issue of Tidings, the UK’s highly respected quarterly magazine for colostomates, is now online. This season’s edition features many great articles and stories, including that of Davina and how she recovered from the toughest period of her life…

"Starting my life all over again"

"I think I had hit my lowest point, the day I looked into my mum's eyes and seeing her pain, I just knew I had to try, even if it wasn't for myself, then at least I had to do it for my family. They had been there by my bedside, through all of it and I couldn't put them through any more pain. So I decided I needed to turn all my emotions around and get my mind focused to get well again, and that was my turning point. To get well and be positive."

Also in this issue:

Happy Stomaversary - How Emma Boyce is helping her daughter feel positive about having a stoma

To Reverse or Not to Reverse - Catherine writes about how she felt as she waited for a reversal and whether she made the right decision.

Facebook group three years on - Facebook group admin, Sarah Squire, writes about how the group has grown since it was set up three years ago.

You can read these articles and Davina's story in full in the Spring edition of Tidings. Now available online.
